Download your Statement of Attainment, Statement of Completion, or Qualification Certificate.
Last updated 22 Oct 2026
Once your training provider issues your result, you can download the correct completion document from the portal.
Access required
Sign in as the learner to download completion documents issued to your own enrolments. Payment, USI and completion requirements still apply.
Types of completion document
Statement of Attainment
A Statement of Attainment is issued when you successfully complete one or more units of competency that don't form a complete qualification.
You'll receive a Statement of Attainment if you:
- Complete part of a qualification
- Withdraw after completing some units
- Study standalone units (not part of a full course)
The portal labels its reference as an SOA number rather than a certificate number.
Nationally recognised Statements of Attainment carry the Nationally Recognised Training mark. Documents issued by a Western Australian RTO registered with the Training Accreditation Council also carry the TAC mark.
Qualification Certificate
A qualification certificate is issued when you complete all requirements for a full qualification, such as:
- Certificate II, III, or IV
- Diploma
- Advanced Diploma
The certificate includes:
- Your full name
- Qualification name and code
- Date of issue
- Training provider details
- Nationally Recognised Training logo
If the issuing RTO is registered with the Training Accreditation Council of Western Australia, the certificate also carries the TAC mark.
Statement of Completion
A Statement of Completion is issued for a non-accredited course. It confirms that you completed the training, but it is not a nationally recognised VET document.
Statements of Completion do not carry the NRT or TAC marks.
Accessing your completion documents
- Open Home
- Find your completed course
- Click Your SOA, Your certificate, or Your completion statement, depending on what was issued
Alternatively:
- Open Certificates in the portal
- Find the issued document, including an SOA issued after withdrawal
- Click Download
Downloading completion documents
Completion documents are provided as PDF files. To download:
- Click Download beside the document
- Your browser will download the PDF
- Save it to a safe location
You can download your issued documents as many times as you need. New documents retain the name, course details, provider details and signatory recorded at issuance, so later profile changes do not alter your copy.
When are completion documents available?
Your training provider can issue the appropriate document when:
- All units of competency are marked as complete
- All assessments are marked as Satisfactory
- Your training provider processes the completion
For a partial qualification or withdrawal, your provider can issue an SOA for the units you attained without completing the whole course. The document appears in the portal after it has been issued. Contact your training provider if you are unsure when issuance will occur.
Before you can download
Depending on your provider, you may need to complete one additional step:
- Identity verification: If the course requires it, upload a photo of your government-issued ID (driver's licence, passport, or other photo ID). You'll see a verification banner if this is outstanding.
Your provider may also invite you to complete a feedback questionnaire after you finish training. The questionnaire is voluntary and never delays your download: an issued document stays available whether or not you respond.
Note
If identity verification is required, upload your ID early in your training. Verification may take a few business days.
Completion document not appearing?
If you've completed your course but can't see your certificate:
- Check that your provider has issued the document. A withdrawn enrolment can still have an issued SOA
- Verify all assessments are marked Satisfactory
- Make sure you've completed identity verification
- Contact your training provider to confirm whether the document has been issued
Verifying your qualification
Your qualification is nationally recognised and recorded on:
- training.gov.au: The national register of vocational education and training
- Your USI transcript: Your personal training record, accessible at usi.gov.au
Employers can verify your qualification using the qualification code and your Unique Student Identifier (the 10-character code you entered during onboarding).
Need another copy?
You can return to Completion documents and download an issued document again.
If you need a certified copy, contact your training provider.
Changing details on your completion document
Completion documents are issued with the details you provided during enrolment. If something is incorrect:
- Contact your training provider immediately
- Provide correct information
- Your training provider can void and reissue the corrected document
Common issues include:
- Misspelled name
- Wrong date of birth
- Incorrect address
These should be corrected before the document is issued.
