What is an AVETMISS AVS error code?

When you validate a NAT file in NCVER’s AVETMISS Validation Software (AVS), each problem is reported as a numeric code (e.g. 3865) with a terse field name. This tool translates those codes into plain-English explanations and the exact fix.

Is this a replacement for NCVER AVS?

No. AVS is the official, mandatory validator you must run before lodging. This is a free pre-flight explainer that helps you understand and fix the errors AVS reports. Always re-validate in AVS before submitting.

Does my data get uploaded anywhere?

No. The explainer runs entirely in your browser. Nothing you paste is sent to a server. You can paste error codes or your whole AVS detailedReport.csv safely.
